My paintings are all explorations into the process of using different materials and techniques.
I find most of the time painting is a way for me to get outside of the "real" world mindset. I try to start with a clear mind and no ideas almost as if I am an antenna just pulling from what already "is"
Most all paintings are mixed media , acrylic underpainting with oil over on canvas or panel
Blue orbs, Green meditation , 3 Boxcars, and Side of the road are plaster with wax.
Falling #1 , #2, #3 , Figure in stain , Earth Skin are all mixed media on Artist Paper.
